Located at the famous Champollion street, this hotel is 2 blocks away from the Cairo museum. We used the hotel sort of as transition during our trip. We paid one night so we can store our luggage and take a shower before heading to the airport for our trip to Luxor. The hotel doesn't start the first floor. It starts at the 6 floor. We got a little confused going up on the elevators. Got lost because we took the second elevator in the property which requires a key card to go up because there are actually apartments on the lower floors. After that it was straight forward. Rooms booked thorough booking.com were reserved and paid; waiting for us. The rooms are very nice and clean; good size too. Bathrooms are also very clean although the shower is kind of small. The small shower seems to be a thing in Egypt. We walk from the hotel to the Cairo museum. Is only 5 minutes away. Staff was very helpful and nice. They help us call a taxi for the airport when we left that night.

First of all this hotel is on the 6th floor of its building, there is a lift but it's small so just good for 1 person and suitcases or 2 people so be prepared that you may have to conquer the stairs. Room was spacious and clean and the decor was what I expect from a budget middle eastern hotel. Excellent location, a stones throw from the Egyptian Museum (we could see it from our window) so a great price in regards to that. WiFi was good. What we enjoyed most were the staff at this hotel; polite, kind and keen to help. There were no expectations or demands for constant tips or trying to upsell us on anything unnecessarily, things we had encountered in our previous hotel and endured while out and about in Cairo. Would recommend this hotel.

location is great, it's so close to the Egyptian Museum. the location is quiet even though Cairo is chaotic. there is a supermarket within walking distance, and Koshary Abou Tarek is also very close. The two men that work here were really friendly and hospitable. Breakfast at the hotel is adequate, and they were happy to provide it to me earlier as well. The communication from the hotel was great. they offered to provide a driver to pick me up from the airport (at extra cost) but it's better than using the taxis at the airport.

The location is perfect everything is around, you can do all at foot. Museum & a lot of place and activities just around the hotel. Staff is understanding and here for people. The breakfast is good (omelet, bread, coffee, tea, marmelade it’s including). The price is good too you have a lot of choice for room and price so it’s a plus for me. Really nice hotel and serious, the place is perfect

The staff were very kind and helped me set up guided tours in Cairo and elsewhere which allowed me to visit sites I would never have been able to see otherwise. The location is ideal. The Cairo Museum is a stone throw away and the nearest metro station is five minutes walking. There are plenty of little shops nearby where you can get food and other necessities. The hotel is ideal for backpackers who don't want to sleep in a noisy dorm.

The hotel is really a value for money. Staffs are too good and helpful, well behaved and professional. I can’t resist to take the name of Mr. Rafic, he is very helpful and helped in everything including flight booking and all.

I always stay here when I'm in Cairo. Great location for me. Close to GoBus for my onward travel. Enough restaurants around the area or a very short uber ride to Zamalek, or walk there. The staff are always very warm and welcoming

Very convenient location close to public transport, the corniche, the Egyptian Museum and a range of shopping options. The staff are also very helpful and someone is always on duty.
